Caster’s interface features swifter navigation and more clarity within the Release Creator to help you optimize your music promotion campaigns!
Multipliers assessed within Caster by total time
Applicable multiplier rates are now calculated within Caster’s Track Manager based on the total time of uploaded audio files. For singles this means you can more readily figure out whether to include additional versions beyond a radio edit while staying within budget. For EPs, albums, double albums, deluxe reissues, and catalogue – knowing how many minutes you have to spare within a particular multiplier tier helps you maximize your campaign. We wanted to make it easier to get the most out of every release!
Label selection is much easier
When selecting labels for a release you can now scroll down by alphabetical order, input the name into a search bar, or head to your Favourites for the labels you use the most. For majors with multiple subsidiaries, radio promoters working on campaigns for different labels, and/or managers handling promo for a roster of artists – this function makes finding the right label for a particular release, a breeze.
MAPL qualification for CanCon Artists
Marking releases as CanCon is as easy as sliding your mouse along a percentage bar. MAPL qualification is automatically calculated in the summary box at the bottom. A qualifying check mark will tell you your release is good to go. Then simply hit save.
Improved Genre selection tool
We’ve updated our Genres menu as well. Similar to the Label’s popup, use the search bar to filter results and favourite your most frequently used genres for easy access. This is just one more way we’re making the release creation process more efficient.
Enable Contact from Tastemakers on releases
We also wanted to make sure you are aware that you can now enable contact by recipients on your releases.By enabling contact, Tastemakers will be able to reach out directly from within *Player to request additional information, assets, and/or provide feedback, and more! You can also enable contact on any other recent releases if you wish to do so.
