We are delighted to once again join forces with CBC Music’s premier new music discovery competition – Toyota Searchlight! Canada’s national broadcaster runs this contest to uncover the top new talent bubbling up across the country, but bound for international glory! Toyota Searchlight 2022 will introduce new names and undeniable artists that we know you’re going to love.
If you’re an artist in Canada trying to eke out a name for yourself on the scene, take note! Previous winners include JUNO nominees Shawnee Kish and isKwé, an earlier incarnation of Caveboy, Skye Wallace, Hillsburn, and our soon-to-be-profiled interviewee, 2021 grand prize winner Jhyve. His most recent single topped the Canadian downloads in Player last week, FYI!
So what are you waiting for?! Get your songs up to snuff and your social media followers primed! If you get top marks, you could win a music promotion distribution prize package totaling $4000 CAD (grand prize) or the runners-up distribution prize at a cool $1k.
