How to track your airplay
Step 1a: Export from Caster
Sign up for Caster and promote your release to radio. You can export releases to MTR after you’ve submitted to curators and start tracking spins across North America. Caster users automatically receive a MTR account and get 10% off plans.
Step 1b: ..or Sign up for MTR
If you don’t need a Caster account you can use MTR as a standalone tool. Signing up for MTR is free, only start paying when you’re ready to track. Signing up for MTR does not automatically create a Caster account, you’ll need to sign up separately.
Step 2: Upload songs
Upload a single or multiple songs. MTR supports the following formats: WAV, AIF, AIFF, MP3, M4A, WMA or OGG. Then input song information and choose a tracking plan! MTR offers 1, 3, and 6 month plans. Tracking plans are per song.
Step 3: Track airplay
MTR tracks airplay in real-time. Once a spin is detected, it will appear in the dashboard. View an all-time overview or spins by radio stations, cities, and dayparts. Select a tracking period to compare. Export reports overall, or by segment.
