Our partners at the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) are reopening entries for their annual Screen Shot promotion running December 1-12, 2022.
This promotion is specifically looking for music in all styles and genres that is well-suited for placement in TV, film, ads, video games, and other licensing avenues.
Placement in projects like these requires a ‘music license’ which ensures the copyright owners are compensated for certain uses of their musical work. Music licensing has become one of the best ways for artists to get more exposure and more revenue for their music.
However, connecting with music professionals whose job is to locate and license music for upcoming projects can be incredibly difficult. Therefore, ISC designed the Screen Shot promotion to help artists connect these dots.
One lucky Screen Shot winner will receive a music promotion distribution campaign from Play MPE worth $500 USD! (May we suggest sending to our Music Supervisors list?!) Plus the Screen Shot winner will be automatically entered in the overall ISC competition.
