Build your network of industry connections in Player
Verified music curators – using Player to discover and access the latest releases and catalog content – can now invite coworkers and industry contacts to connect. Start inviting your contacts to connect, and you’ll soon unlock time-saving collaborative features. These features, such as “Share a Release,” will become available a few months after your connections have been invited and verified.
A more efficient workflow for music discovery
Until now, a release discovered in Player could only be shared with coworkers and/or important industry peers by downloading and forwarding it via third party platforms like Dropbox, WeTransfer, and Google Drive, or by creating an external shared private playlist. These additional steps add unnecessary complexity to the workflow of busy professionals.
Play MPE’s team understands this and has worked to develop solutions to further simplify music access & discovery. Imagine flagging a new release and instantly sharing it with someone in your network, or forwarding to your music team – all within Player. A seamless and secure collaborative experience is forthcoming!
Maintaining security and protection for promotional releases
Building a collaborative network goes hand in hand with ensuring the security of all releases, pre-releases and catalog content. This means verified Player users can invite coworkers and key industry contacts to connect – so long as they’ve already been verified by our team.
If a coworker shares the same email domain and accepts an invitation, they will be automatically added to a users’ network. Contacts outside of a user’s company, that are already using Player, will also be readily added. External industry contacts – who don’t yet have an account, can receive an invitation to connect, however they will undergo the usual, rigorous verification process.
