Play MPE’s Caster Emerge Announces January Finalists

Caster Emerge January Finalists Announced

Play MPE’s industry relation team has been busy listening to a ton of incredible music submissions for Caster Emerge. Part music contest, part artist incubator, Play MPE is on the hunt to uncover indie artists who are ready to take the next step in their career.

Each month three finalists will move on, with one wild card being selected by none other than Sirius XM co-host Katy Krassner of WHOOOSH!.

Ten finalists will get one single each promoted to radio (NonComm, College), media and more across North America using Play MPE’s Caster. Radio airplay will be tracked my MTR. Two artists will emerge to win music promotion and tracking packages for three singles each over the course of one year.

Let’s meet our first three finalists…

Gadfly (Noisy Psychedelia)

Gadfly is the brainchild of Iranian artist Homa Khoshnavaz, who created the band as a way to express her displeasure at the treatment of women in her country. She pours her anger and frustration into creating a strained and heavy sound that dabbles in noisy psychedelia.

W!TH (Future Pop)

W!TH is a future pop duo. A collaboration between two friends, Isaiah and Anthony. Calling upon a wide range of influences, the duo continues to explore a variety of sonic landscapes, gazing upward in pursuit of truth!

Maddisun (Indie Folk)

Maddisun’s songs explore emotional journeys of love, loss, heartache, growth, redemption, and resilience. She weaves together indie-folk, Americana, classic rock, and electro-pop influences that reflect her raw vocal talent, pure musicality, and unfiltered authenticity.
